Ms. Sadia Tahira is working as a Lecturer at Department of Speech & Language Pathology, NUR International University. She received her B.SC. (HONS) degree in Speech & Language Pathology from University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore. She got 3 silver medals in her graduation and received her M.Phil. degree in Speech & Language Pathology from Riphah International University (RIU) in 2015. She did her internship in Speech & Language Therapy Section of Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore in 2012. She joined FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences in August 2012 and has been actively involved in teaching and clinical Speech Therapy Department of Fatima Memorial Hospital and Institute of Allied Health Sciences. She has five years of teaching experience at FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences and clinical experience at Fatima Memorial Hospital. Her
academic interests are in teaching speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders, therapeutic exercises & techniques and speech therapy assessment as well as treatments. She has proven effective in strengthening student teaching so that within last 5 years, Speech & Language Pathology students achieved multiple UHS top positions and numerous UHS distinctions in their professional examinations. She has been a UHS appointed internal examiner, external examiner, paper setter, paper assessor and auditor in various Speech & Language Pathology subjects.
