Lahore, December 14, 2018: NUR International University in collaboration with USAID organized a symposium on “Supply Chain Public Policy Implication on System and People”. The program was supported by the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Chain Management (GHSC-PSM) Project. Guest speaker present at the symposium Dr. Muhammad Tariq, Country Director USAID GHSC-PSM Pakistan was present at the symposium. Dr. Tariq’s has a successful career for health system improvements and public health activities since 1987. He has been an affiliate faculty at the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR); International Health Program, Daniel J Evans School of Public Affairs, Health Services Academy and earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington with concentration in Global Health and health services. Speaking at the occasion he explained the importance of Supply Chain Public Policy Implication on Systems and Policy to the students of NIU. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Member, Board of Management, NIU was also present at the occasion as Chief Guest lauded the efforts of USAID and thanked Dr. Muhammad Tariq for the informative session for the students and presented the guest speaker a shield as token of acknowledgement.
