Bio-technology has become an integral part of the modern science, therefore BS (H) bio-technology is a door to many career opportunities. Our program takes research & informatics centric approach to provide greater understanding and knowledge. Students will develop skills in practical laboratory techniques, data interpretation, critical analysis, computational skills allied to biotechnology and scientific writing. At NIU, students will gain extensive practical skills in research-oriented environment so that they are prepared to work at the forefront of developments in this exciting field. Emphasis is placed on practical training and developing transferable skills that will be invaluable in a wide range of professional settings.
